Department: Fellowship Level: CME Level You need: 15 Points Head Master: Hony. Prof. R. K. Manchanda MD (Hom.) Accredited CPD Points: 12
Objectives by head of programme:
It has been observed that about
25% patients having skin or hair related problems consult
Homeopaths worldwide. Homeopaths are always facing the challenge
of proper diagnosis and treatment of these patients. There is
wide variation in the education system of Homeopathy. Most of
these are concentrating on the different prescribing methods.
The teachings of treatment of diseases of skin and hair are
universally deficient in Homeopathic Medical colleges. There
are also myths about the concepts of Homeopathic aggravation,
suppression and miasms. As a result of this many Homeopaths
attempt to treat their patients without considering the
diagnosis, etiology, pathology, natural history and prognosis of
the diseases, and meet frequent failure, at times causing
unnecessary and avoidable suffering to the patients. Although it
is possible to prescribe homeopathic medicines without
considering diagnosis, the knowledge of disease diagnosis is
essential for the proper management of patients and to publish
cases in a scientific way. Bio-data of the head: Please find more about Hony. Prof. Manchanda here>
